You don't need to have riches to be happy...

You don't need great houses, posh rooms, mind-sweeping limousines to put a smile on your face...

Just learn to count your blessings every day and you shall experience the real joy. the real happiness. =)))

I had a simple breakfast wimmy parents this morning, before dad dropped me off for tuition at Kovan. We ate at the Hougang Ave 3 Wet Market and boy, the place brought back all my past memories; those that had long been buried deep underneath.

That market brought me back to my childhood days, when i would frequent the market wimmy mummy, carrying the groceries for her while strolling back to our house nearby... Back in those good old days; those carefree days...

I'm grateful that I finally managed to have a proper meal together wimmy parents! Argh. Cos it's lyk, staying in hostel in NTU compounds meant that i'm so separated from my parents. In any case, I now do treasure my time with them more. Well, I so love rattling on to my mummy about what happened throughout the week when I "book out" for the week...

I so love my bed at home, my bolster (although i don't use it) & the TV set. Goodness. Haa. I miss everything at home! But I am grateful that I'm able to try out hostel living. Life's been pretty fun so far. My neighbours are all rather friendly - we smile alot at each other whenever we meet. We even had the luxury of attending Salsa dance class together! (Well, everyone had a good laugh. muahahs)

All in all, I'm happy and pretty contented (not complacent though) that I feel really blessed. Well, I guess it all boils down to giving thanks, and taking time to see the good in things =)))

Here's wishing all my readers (probably only a few i guess) all the best in finding the simple joys in life too! Simple faith can do wonders! =PPP

Cheers
Jerica =)
