Yippee!!!!


Went fine-dining wimmy beloved cuzzy Jessamine today! muahahaha. Was lovely!





After having done some elaborate research, we decided on Italian cuisine (since i had some knowledge on Italian cuisine, having worked at Zambuca Italian Restaurant in Pan Pacific previously), and went ahead to Oso Ristorante, along Tanjong Pagar Road. =) Nice ambience; so nice that the moment I stepped in, I was swept away!



Shucks. Oh gosh. The soft lighting plus the gentle music in the background definitely created a sensual night. Lovely...

Overall dining experience was great! muahahhas. In particular, the service staff were fabulous, and they simply made my day - just a glance at them and they'll come over to serve your needs. Our drinks were constantly refilled, without us having to ask for it. Cool! Being a zui-tang (water barrel), I drank a lot of water. Hee hee!!!


Ordered 4 courses in all - Started off with Wild “rucola” salad with sautéed baby shrimps in lemon dressing; Followed by Thick mixed fish bisque soup in tomato and vegetables base “Cioppino”; Main course was served with elaborate details, “Penne” with deboned oxtail and Porcini mushroom; and ended off with a blast of fine Italian dessert - Mascarpone cheese “tiramisu” cake with coffee, biscuits and cacao...

And yes, this is the only picture I managed to take properly - all the others were to dark; didn't turn out as nice as they really are.

Lovely dishes! I don't reckon I can describe well enough how much I enjoyed myself that evening; great food, fantastic ambience while doing some catching up with my cousin Jessamine! =))) This restaurant even has its own dedicated cheese cellar (well, although we didn't come here for the cheeses. haaa.)

After dinner, both my cuzzy and I decided to stroll around and thus, we went to Esplanade (my favourite place...hee). From there, we went to The Fullerton Hotel! Took lotsa pictures as usual. Hahas. Here goes...
